10 Gluten-Free Easter Recipes the Whole Family Will Love

When you have a family gathering it can sometimes be challenging to serve food that everyone will love and also supports a healthy lifestyle.

There are LOTS of options that are both delicious and healthy, it doesn’t have to be one or the other!

Whether you are making an Easter meal at home or are having a family gathering give these recipes will fit both. I have options for an appetizer, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts.

OK...now for some YUMMY Easter recipes...

Appetizers

Here is a slightly different spin on deviled eggs that includes healthy fats from avocado instead of mayo which can be made with junky inflammatory oils.

Make these Avocado Deviled Eggs instead.

This Greek Hummus Dip would be great served with plantain chips, cut up veggies, or Siete dip chips.

main dishes

When I think of Easter brunch, ham immediately comes to mind! I really like Beelers ham that you can get at your local co-op. It’s not full of additives and won’t leave you feeling puffy for days from all of the sodium.

The easiest way to prepare a ham is in the slow cooker so your oven and time are freed up for other things.

Check out this Slow Cooker Ham recipe that I like to use.
Note: I leave out the white wine and add more broth.

If you have never tried lamb this is a great opportunity to do so. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like lamb and it’s a nice change up from other red meat. Lamb is FULL of B vitamins and iron.

Try this Roasted Boneless Leg of Lamb for your Easter celebration.

Side dishes

Vegetables don’t need to be boring or tasteless!!! Here are 4 great side dishes to make…

This Garlic & Herb Mashed Cauliflower recipe is so full of flavor that no one will know if they aren’t mashed potatoes. :-) You could also add 1-2 potatoes for a great mixture!

I make these Roasted Carrots w/Ghee & Cinnamon all year round because they taste like candy! This combination is so good!!!

Here is another recipe, Simple Roasted Green Beans, that I make all the time to add a veggie to any meal, breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Roasting green beans is my favorite way to prepare them.

Sweet Potato Casserole doesn’t need to be drenched in sugar to taste good. This recipe has 4 simple ingredients and it just might be your new favorite when it comes to the traditional holiday sweet potato dish.

desserts

Anything carrot related is great for Easter brunch. I’ve got a carrot cake cookie recipe and a carrot cake recipe for you depending on what you and your family prefer. Both are AMAZING!
